CSV import returns malformed records due to foreign characters
Hello,
We have a large number of emails rejected with foreign (but valid) characters, for example:
andrea.køldal
but are not sure how to fix the import of them so they are marked as valid and can be sent to?
Thanks,
Matt

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. The issue you’re seeing with emails being rejected due to foreign characters usually happens when the CSV file isn’t encoded in UTF-8. To fix this, please make sure your CSV is saved with UTF-8 encoding before importing. This should allow characters like
øto be recognized correctly and prevent them from being marked as malformed.Best regards,
Ben
