You can change a subscriber's name via the subscribe API.
When you call the API, pass in the email address of the subscriber as well as the name. The name will be changed to whatever name you passed in.

Yes that's right.
By the way if you don't want to charge your client anything when they send emails, you can leave those fields blank. -
Good that you got it working. Thanks.

You mentioned using subversion to upload changed file for Sendy updates, that may be the problem.
Then subversion is certainly not picking up the changes.Did you set cron to execute every 5 minutes as per the cron instructions?I suspect your installation files are messed up judging from your other thread that says the footer displays 1.0.8 when it should display 1.1.2.
Did you make any kind of modifications to Sendy? It's not possible that the latest version displays 1.0.8 at the footer.
Where did you download Sendy's build?I received your installation login credentials, thanks. I just saw that you've uploaded 42000+ subscribers? Thanks @isaacadams. Thanks. The gist here is to use the<unsubscribe></unsubscribe>tag.
You can wrap text or image inside.
Sendy will convert it into a unique unsubscribe …Setting up an unsubscribe link in your email is easy.
For example:
